How much weight can pallet rack hold?

There is no single capacity that applies to every rack. Beam capacity is rated per pair, per level; frame capacity depends on frame height and beam spacing. We size beams and frames from your heaviest pallet, and the finished configuration's capacities go on load plaques. For cantilever, we also check individual arm and total column loads.

Which rack type fits the inventory we store?

Selective teardrop rack is the starting point for mixed SKUs because every pallet is directly accessible. Selective is the default for mixed SKUs; pushback stores two to six deep LIFO by SKU; pallet flow serves FIFO or dated stock; drive-in serves bulk inventory with few SKUs; cantilever supports long loads; carton flow serves case picking. We compare the appropriate systems in your free layout.

Can new bays match the rack I already have?

Usually, if the connection matches and the existing configuration supports the addition. Teardrop connections are not universal across manufacturers. Send photos of the upright face, beam connector and any manufacturer label so we can match new components and review the capacity before adding bays or levels.
